Missouri AG Bailey Demands Accountability After Chiefs Kicker Doxxed for Religious Speech

LifeMissouri AG Bailey Demands Accountability After Chiefs Kicker Doxxed for Religious Speech

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey stepped up on Thursday, declaring a forceful demand for accountability after Kansas City publicly disclosed the location of Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker on social media, a retaliation for his expression of religious beliefs in a recent commencement speech. Bailey turned to X, formerly Twitter, to assert his unwavering stance: “My office is demanding accountability after @KansasCity doxxed @buttkicker7 last night for daring to express his religious beliefs. I will enforce the Missouri Human Rights Act to ensure Missourians are not targeted for their free exercise of religion. Stay tuned.”

In an abrupt backpedal, Kansas City’s official X account deleted the contentious post and issued a hasty apology, stating, “We apologize for our previous tweet. It was shared in error.” Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, in a grudging acknowledgment, admitted the post was “clearly inappropriate” and promised a review of account access to prevent similar future oversights.

Butker’s bold stance against President Joe Biden and the pervasive woke agenda of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) during his speech at a Catholic liberal arts school must have rattled the liberal stronghold. Speaking at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, Butker, a three-time Super Bowl champion, did not mince words. He lambasted Biden’s hypocritical stance on abortion and DEI policies, suggesting that Biden — a self-proclaimed Catholic — has egregiously turned his back on his faith through his aggressive support of abortion.

“Bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues,” Butker remarked during his speech. He courageously highlighted that misguided policies surrounding abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, and the promotion of degenerate cultural values in the media stem from a fundamental disorder within society.

Without explicitly naming Biden, Butker exposed the contradictory actions of the President. He poignantly referenced Biden’s absurdity in making the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally, emphasizing the inconsistency of espousing Catholic values while supporting the murder of innocent life. “Our nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally,” Butker decried.

Butker didn’t stop there. He highlighted a troubling pattern among those steering the country off course, noting, “From the man behind the COVID lockdowns, to the people pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America, they all have a glaring thing in common — they are Catholic. This is an important reminder that being Catholic alone doesn’t cut it.”

As conservatives, it is imperative to challenge the degradation of fundamental liberties and religious rights. Bailey’s commitment to holding Kansas City accountable is a strong reminder that the infringement on individual freedoms and the unchecked spread of radical ideologies will not go unchallenged. Missourians and freedom-loving Americans nationwide should pay close attention. The battle for liberty and integrity continues.
