Ted Cruz has called for an investigation into the alarming reports of communist China and Cuba funnelling funds and exerting influence over radical left-wing organizations orchestrating anti-Israel and anti-American protests. Cruz warns that these subversive foreign campaigns aim to tear the U.S. apart and plunge our society into chaos.
Speaking on his podcast, *The Verdict*, Cruz underscored reports revealing the “direct involvement of communist China and communist Cuba in the anti-Israel, antisemitic, anti-American protests happening across this country.” Such revelations point to an insidious strategy by hostile foreign powers to undermine the very foundations of our nation by sowing discord and dissent among our populace.
In a scathing tweet, Cruz emphasized the gravity of the situation: “Coming to America to study on a student visa is a privilege, not a right. Every foreign student who burns an American flag and chants ‘death to America’ should be deported immediately.”
Evidence suggests that radical left-wing organizations at the heart of these protests receive significant funding from networks connected to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The goal is to advance a revolutionary, anti-capitalist agenda, posing a dire threat to U.S. stability. Recent findings by the Network Contagion Research Institute expose deep intertwining between Chinese-backed media networks and these seditious movements.
“America’s enemies want this country ripped apart,” Cruz stated. “They are funding mayhem on our college campuses with no interest in the causes they appear to support. Their true objective is chaos and the weakening of America.” Highlighting this ulterior motive, Cruz pointed out that China is potentially pumping $100 million into campus protests, not out of concern for Middle Eastern conflicts, but to fracture American society.
Cruz candidly expressed his skepticism that the DOJ and FBI, under the politicized Biden administration, would pursue a thorough investigation into this significant foreign interference. He lamented that the current Justice Department is more interested in pursuing patriotic Americans than addressing the real threats posed by foreign communist powers.
Further, Cruz raised alarms about the influx of foreign students in Ivy League schools who may harbor vehemently anti-American and anti-Israel sentiments. “If a student on a visa is caught burning an American flag and chanting ‘Death to America,’ that student should be deported that day,” Cruz asserted.

Yet, he remains doubtful, stating, “In a sane world, the FBI would be all over this.” He criticized the Justice Department’s focus on minor participants in January 6th while neglecting communist subversion and threats to the nation’s stability.
Elite institutions like Columbia University and others in blue states have succumbed to radicalization and intolerance, putting Jewish students and conservative voices at risk. Cruz criticized these institutions for failing to stand up against antisemitism and for allowing far-left agitators to disrupt society with impunity.
Biden’s inaction further emboldens these leftist radicals, and his administration appears more concerned with securing votes from antisemitic factions than enforcing federal civil rights laws or protecting students. The president’s disregard for the infiltration of Chinese and Cuban communist money into our nation’s socio-political landscape is unacceptable and dangerous.
